Check-In / Check-Out: Check in is between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Check out is 11:00 AM. Late check out before 1:00 PM may be available only upon request for a $25.00 fee. The office is open between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Violations could result in fines up to $100.00 per incident and / or expulsion.
Payment/Cancellation/Refund:
• Full payment is taken at the time reservation.
• If reservation is cancelled 14 days or more prior to stay, a 100%
refund will be issued minus a $20.00 processing fee.
• If reservation is canceled 7-13 days in advance of stay, a 50%
refund will be issued minus a $20.00 processing fee.
• If reservation is canceled 6 days or less in advance of stay, there
will not be any refund. However, you may reschedule at no additional
cost during the same season if bookings are available.
• The reservation/transaction fee is not refundable.
Speed Limit / Vehicles: 5 MPH throughout the property. Violations could result in fines up to $250.00 and / or expulsion.
• Drinking alcohol or being under the influence while operating a vehicle on BMO property will be handled by law enforcement, charges pressed and the violator expelled and trespassed.
• The safety of our guests, especially children, is of utmost importance.
• ATV and E-bike use, including gasoline, diesel, and battery powered four wheelers, side by sides, dirt bikes, etc, is prohibited. Golf carts may be allowed upon request and at the discretion of staff. Vehicles must be registered, in sured, and the driver licensed.
Children: Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Guests are responsible for any children associated with them and / or their visitors, including damages.
Fires: FIRES ARE ALLOWED ONLY IN THE RINGS PROVIDED AT EACH SITE. Guests are not allowed to build their own fire pits or alter BMO property. Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished afterwards. Fireworks are not allowed.
Weapons: Weapons are not allowed on BMO property, including firearms, blades, BB / pellet guns, bows, arrows, crossbows, slingshots, or any other device management deems dangerous. Please be reminded BMO is private property. Violation of our weapons policies could result in fines up to $500 and response from law enforcement.
Water Usage: Please conserve water. BMO relies on a well. Conservation in the drought-stricken high desert is of utmost importance. Therefore:
• NO WASHING VEHICLES WHATSOEVER, including windshields. Use Windex or similar cleaner.
• No washing pets.
• No flushing RV tanks or other maintenance on BMO property.
• No portable showers, pools, hot tubs, water features, hose splitters, multiple hoses at RV sites, hoses at cabins, or water consumption beyond reasonable for bathing, cooking, etc.
• Violations of the water policy could result in fines up to $100 per incident, and / or expulsion.
Hanging / Tying / Staking Items: Do not hang or tie anything, including hammocks, clotheslines, or pet leashes, to BMO property, trees, landscaping, etc, with the exception of hitching posts outside of the cabins. Nothing is to be staked into the ground except at tent sites. Guests are responsible for damage.
Landscaping: Do not move or alter landscaping on BMO property, including rocks, which are not to be used to weigh down items or fit vehicles. Violations could result in a maintenance fee of $25.00 plus $15.00 per hour or part thereof that it takes staff to fix.
Pets:
• Maximum of two pets per unit.
• Pets must be licensed, have proof of vaccinations, not be left unattended, and be leashed at all times.
• Pets must be kept off all furniture in the cabins or a minimum cleaning fee of $50.00 will be imposed.
• No tying / staking pets.
• Pet waste must be immediately picked up and disposed of in a trash recep tacle.
• Violations of the pet policy could result in a $50.00 fine per incident, and / or expulsion.
Parking: Park only in your registered site. If you would like to park elsewhere, please see staff. There is parking for 1 vehicle per cabin or tent site. Each RV site allows parking for 1 additional tow / towed vehicle. Overflow parking is avail able upon request and registration for visitors, boats, additional vehicles, trailers, etc, at no additional charge for during your stay. Parking and storage facilities are not locked during the season; usage is at your own risk. Blue Mesa Outpost is not responsible for any loss or damage to guests or visitors property. DO NOT BLOCK OR PARK ON ROADWAYS OR OUTSIDE OF DESIGNATED AREAS FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES TO LOAD / UNLOAD. Violations could result in fines up to $25.00.
RV Specific:
• All RVs must use pads underneath leveling system including jacks, electric, or hydraulic.
• All RVs must use water pressure regulators and surge protectors. • Guests are financially responsible for any damage to sites caused by not using the aforementioned equipment.
NO VEHICLE MAINTENANCE ON BLUE MESA OUTPOST PROPERTY.
DISABLED, UNATTENDED, OR ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE.
Blue Mesa Outpost is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses of any kind while you are on its property. Ownership reserves the right to change or add regulations, and to change the location of your cabin, RV, or tent site. Management also reserves the right to immediately evict without refund any guest who violates campground policies or guidelines, including, but not limited to the above. By entering Blue Mesa Outpost and paying to stay at the campground, you agree to all terms, policies, guidelines, and conditions.
